LED Beanie FAQ
What is an LED beanie?
An LED beanie is a knit or fleece winter hat with a built-in LED light in the brim, so it works like a headlamp without a strap. POWERCAP LED beanies give hands-free light from 48 lumens (35/55) up to 300 lumens (4.0).
Which POWERCAP beanie is the brightest?
The POWERCAP 4.0 is the brightest of the five models, with a 300-lumen max mode that reaches 24 meters. Panther Vision calls it the brightest POWERCAP beanie yet.
Which POWERCAP beanie has the longest battery life?
The POWERCAP 35/55 runs the longest, up to 68 hours on four replaceable CR2032 batteries. Among the rechargeable models, the 2.5 and 3.0 run up to 10.5 hours on Low and the 4.0 runs up to 7.5 hours on Low.
